Packing tips
Books in small boxes onlyKeep each box under 30 lbs. Heavy boxes break and hurt your back.
TVs travel verticallyNever lay a flat screen flat — the panel can crack during transport.
Tape an X across mirrorsPainter's tape across the face contains fragments if breakage occurs.
Wardrobe boxes for clothesHang directly — no folding, no wrinkling. Ask Eco Tech for wardrobe boxes.
Photo your cable setupBefore disconnecting electronics, photograph every cable and port.
Label sides not topsWhen boxes are stacked, top labels are invisible. Side labels always show.

How far in advance should I book?+
Weekend moves should be booked 3–4 weeks ahead. Weekday moves can often be booked 1–2 weeks out. Summer months June through August book fastest — aim for 4–6 weeks ahead. Same-day availability exists for emergencies depending on schedule.
Are you licensed and insured?+
Yes. Eco Tech Movers is fully licensed with the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (USDOT #4102532) and carries $2 million in liability insurance. All crew members are background-checked before their first day of work.
What if something is damaged during my move?+
We carry cargo insurance with two coverage levels. Released Value Protection is free at $0.60 per pound per item. Full Value Protection covers the replacement value of items for an additional cost. You select your coverage before move day begins. All items are photographed in a pre-move condition report.
Do you charge extra for stairs or elevators?+
No. Stair fees and long-carry fees are included in our standard hourly rate. The only extras are packing materials if you choose our packing service, and specialty items like pianos or gun safes that require special equipment.
Can I cancel or reschedule my move?+
Free cancellation up to 72 hours before your move date. Within 72 hours, the deposit is forfeited. Extenuating circumstances are reviewed case-by-case. Rescheduling is always free given 72 or more hours notice.
How do the Cratezy reusable crates work?+
Cratezy plastic crates are delivered to your door before move day. Pack them exactly like cardboard boxes — they stack perfectly in the truck and lock securely. After your move, we pick them up, sanitize them, and they go to the next customer. No cardboard waste, no box shopping, and they are stronger than cardboard.
What areas of DFW do you serve?+
We serve the entire Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex — 45+ cities including Dallas, Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Richardson, Garland, Irving, Grand Prairie, Arlington, Fort Worth, Southlake, Colleyville, Keller, Grapevine, Flower Mound, Lewisville, Denton, Carrollton, Farmers Branch, and all surrounding areas.
